VIMES announce "Nights In Limbo"-Tour for March 2016
Cologne band VIMES have finished their debut album and are happy to announce that it will be released via Humming Records on the 12th February 2016! It wasn’t easy for members Azhar Syed and Julian Stetter to make the album without losing track due to the high expectations their first single releases “Celestial” and “Ential” as well as performances at international showcase festivals like Eurosonic (NL), Great Escape (UK) and SXSW (US) brought along.
But by locking themselves into the studio with producer Jochen Naaf (XU Zolar, Hundreds) and thus shutting out all the voices asking about their album, VIMES managed to create an opus that consists of both catchy and experimental elements.
And as if the upcoming album wasn’t exciting enough, we are happy to announce that the duo will be touring through Germany in March of next year!

YACHT heading for Europe in November!
With electropop-duo YACHT ‘s new album “I Thought the Future Would Be Cooler” coming out in just two weeks, we are happy to announce that the LA-based band is coming to Europe with three shows in Germany in November.
Yacht’s new album, ‘I Thought The Future Would Be Cooler’, is a sweeping and visionary critique of the 21st century. It reveals the band at its most self-assured: critical, funny, tough, and musically diverse, creating an infectious and hyperactive conceptual pop that seems to seep through the walls of an alternate universe. Yacht’s knowing references to technology, feminism, and media are layered in complex arrangements in songs about holograms and phones, police violence and identity, sex and the future. The album draws from a weird well of influences: 80s Japanese electronic reggae, 70s and 80s post-punk and no wave as well as Norwegian disco. The result is a surprising and heterogeneous collection of songs that only Yacht could make.

Pollyester - New on Our Roster!
Pollyester’s music style cannot be summarized as one, you would rather say it is a mixture of electro-pop, avant-garde, disco, indie and probably many more. Their new album ‘City of O.’ is as well remarkable for this mix.
Their upcoming shows will soon be announced, so keep updated and regularly check our Tourdates.
In the meantime: listen, watch, dance and enjoy!
